Presenting nicely in its glossy coat of red there are some imperfections to speak of, but nothing untoward. What\u2019s more the car remains entirely corrosion-free, and has an MOT until April 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The interior has been recently re-upholstered in piped black leatherette and retains a nice period finish. The carpets are in good order, and the original wood dash is free from any major wear. Problem areas such as the boot floor remain solid.<\/p>\n<p>Present in the history file is V5C and the current MOT until April. There are several old MOT certificates along with a handful of parts invoices from recent years. The car is an early Herald 948 but is fitted with a 1300cc engine. The hood will also require repair work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carandclassic.co.uk\/car\/C672842\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.carandclassic.co.uk\/car\/C672842<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional info.<\/strong><br \/>\nThis car has\u00a0paperwork with the Commission number of Y19658CV it was first registered July 1st 1960 (DVLA) making it an older registered car than VDL634 however a much later build. Our records have an October 1960 build date for the car (Y19568CV). The original registration number has, of course been lost, and a replacement added &#8211; probably quite a while ago hence the A plate &#8211; the DVLA now do issue more age-related plates so the new owner could get a new 6 digit number that would suit the car better &#8211; and a silver and black numberplate too!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 2<\/strong><br \/>\nOriginally from the seller back in February 2013 the vendor stated the commission number as <a title=\"Triumph Herald\" href=\"http:\/\/www.triumph-herald.com\/y19558cv.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Y19558CV<\/a> however this may have been a typo on the email reply. (?)<\/p>\n<p>Additional paperwork with the car has a Commission number of G46887 &#8211; a saloon, with a build date of June 1960,\u00a0remember with the registration date of July 1st 1960.
