The original photo was from an old TSSC courier magazine called the Turning Circle published in May 1987, at which time the car was looking pretty battered. The car itself was Signal Red. The London number plate 921BGW sets the car between October 1960 (1BGW) and July 1961 (999BGW)<\/span>&#8211; with this car being at the end of the run. The car itself was built at the very end of October 1960 &#8211; a tough &#8216;sell&#8217; throughout an English winter a drop head convertible!<\/p>\n<p>Today the &#8216;liability&#8217; date remains the same &#8211; 1st July 2007.
