New Convertible in Malta

This photo has been found from Malta. The car looks like a 948cc convertible with the rear seat and rear seat quarters looking remarkably early.
The steering wheel though is black – perhaps an early 1200? FAS 449 – please get in touch if you can help with any more details on this car.
