594WHK Convertible

This period advert came to light over the Christmas holidays. Sorting through my old TSSC Courier magazines and the classified sections. All the adverts are text only, with very few offering a numberplate – this one does though for 594WHK.

WHK is an Essex registration which started (with 1WHK) in April 1961 and ran through ’till July 1961 (999WHK).

‘Bright Yellow’ was never an original Triumph colour – a Pale Yellow was, which never could be called ‘bright’ however the usual trim colour for a Pale Yellow car would have been Black and White. So perhaps a Pale Yellow brightened!

Sadly nothing comes up relating to the numberplate, which indicates the car longer exists.
